Monday, December 26, 2005. The last time I posted I was about to play a comp on GetMinted. I think I played pretty solidly, I came 2nd and took home 330 quid, next day I played it again and won it! It definately put me back on track and since then I did well in a pretty big Ladbrokes tournament for over $1k and having won a seat for $13 to the $500 30 on Stars, I came 22nd and took just shy of $2.5k. Cash at the WPT event in Bahamas. Start keeping records other than my bank statement! Sort out my money.

I played really tight at Gutshot, just playing the pony cash game which the usual faces. It was all going well until I lost my stack of 80 with QQ vs AA. It was annoying, because I knew he had it as well. Very hard to fold those hands still for me. Should have trusted my instincts more. Anyway, good luck to everyone planning...

Sunday, October 30, 2005. Did my weekly trip to Gutshot on Friday for the 10 rebuys. The tournament was pretty boring, got to 3000 chips from the initial 500 by taking flops cheap and hitting lots. A couple of 50/50s lost set me back and I decided to go out just before the end of the rebuy period at damage of 20. I knew I was in big trouble, Jimmy who was last to act said he hoped one of us had Aces. I showed them, he showed 99, and the other guy showed 97. Posted by Rupert at 10/30/2005 03:22:00 pm.

Thursday, June 08, 2006. For my sports betting I use a tipping service since I am too inept to make my own picks. I've put a couple of the ones I like down as well, most of the prices the tipping service offers is all taken so I don't think they will mind if I post the bets here. 12pts @ 3.75 - Sweden to win Group B World Cup. 6pts @ 2.625 - Holland to win Group C World Cup. 5pts @ 2.625 - Mexico to win Group D World Cup. 10pts @ 1.91 - Portugal to win Group D World Cup. That's it then, COME ON ENGLAND!

Monday, March 13, 2006. I've pretty much cleared the $120 bonus Stars gave for the WSOP qualifiers and I changed up 630 W$ (satellite money) into real money which I got $545 which is $45 better than the going rate.
