Tuesday, June 29, 2010. Okay, small droid holding pattern. I need to set droid work aside to work on costuming for CV, and some art projects. Not to fear: droid-progress .er. progresses. Monday, January 31, 2011. Took a bit of time off to fully heal my knee, and seem to have turned a corner over the weekend, so.slowly began droid-work again! Friday, February 24, 2012. Winter 2012 Update: Dome Nearly Done. The mildest, driest winter in history continues, and so I have been able to actually paint in 70 degree weather. Fantastic! Of course, all our ski resorts are suffering, but I am loving it. I haven’t had to shovel any snow yet! I’ve gotten the dome finish to a level I am very happy with, and I’ve prepped and painted all the dome panels. The sonic blue pearl works great, and two coats of gloss clear finish it all off. Dark Jedi Resin Bits.

Monday, January 2, 2012. I now have the Teeces' Version 3 build almost done. After doing the V2 this past summer, I found the V3 ultra easy. This time, I'm using a 4-pack of AA batteries to power the whole set up, and so far it's working great. All I'm waiting for is a RLD retro kit from Joy Monkey so all the LEDs on the RLD are uniform. I don't like the brightness (dimness? Of the current LEDs. No worries though, I have plenty of other things to do. I have almost finished the dome! Dark Jedi Resin Bits.
