Oh dear. The rest of the week was pretty great. Then on Wednesday night we met with Claudia and we talked about faith, and she is still reading the Book of Mormon. She told her sisters that she's meeting with us and has explained some things to them. She also told us that she loves that the Church is so centered on the family- we never even told her that I don't think, but she knows. She's cool. Friday we went to see Patrizia, just for a minute, and we left her a little thing to read about prayer. On Sat...

Mamma mia, che settimana! Okay, anyway, on to the rest of the week. Hehe. Then our weekly Italian class with Sharon, and her niece Yesha is so cute. That was fun. Friday we went and visited a cute less active from Peru in the morning, way sweet girl. Then we went to see Fernanda, and had a good lesson with her. She's having problems with her 18 year old currently, but hopefully things will get better soon. Sunday was Stake Conference, it was awesome. I translated the last talk for Sharon and Peter, i...

Cool, I didn't know that Grandma and Grandpa were going to the temple dedication. That is nice that they get to be there. So I guess when we meet Ukrainians this week I can tell them that my grandparents are there right now. I don't know how to say Kiev so that they understand what I'm saying though. Haha. As he was riding off and then he came on Sunday. And then later his friend who had been there on Monday when we spoke came as well and brought another friend. Cool. It's supposed to be Via Cesare Batti...

I don't even know what to write about, it's been a whole new week but I don't think I am capable yet of comprehending that this is the last day. Okay, so I am, but I still feel like everything is normal and that I'm going to be here forever except that everytime that I see people I make them cry. miiii. So let's see what has happened this week. Ha So amazing, my companion took lots of pictures and she's making a dvd today. Woohoo. (she's already made one with a bunch of other pictures). Then we ran to me...

Takin' care of business. Work is an adventure. Sitting at a desk all day gives you serious neck tweaks. When I wear glasses my eyes ache by the end of the day, but with contacts that doesn't happen. And something insane happens each day to keep me on my toes. Like the day a woman called in to make sure her deceased husbands account was canceled. His domain? Also, occasionally on calls when I ask if there's anything else we can do for the customer I get responses like these:. You could wash and wax my car".

Also, the Area Presidency asked us to share "spiritual success stories" with each other a few weeks ago. This is what I wrote. I have never seen a baptism. My testimony has grown, my love for my Savior and His gospel has grown, and my ability to feel the love of my Heavenly Father has grown. I know without a doubt that this is the work of the Lord. And that, to me, is success. Posted by Robert Stevenson. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). In love since 2008, married since June 2011.
