Saturday, April 25, 2015. One thing that irks me the most when talking to a foreigner is when they ask me, "Do you speak Bahasa? I always put a bit of sarcasm in my tone when I ask, even though I am almost sure that they just did not know what they were asking. The thing that really irks me is when someone from Malaysia or Singapore ask me the same question. Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't they know better that "bahasa" simply means "language"?
