LOVE to hear any comments, PLEASE. Wool Applique. The blue is 3 shades of wool that I stitched together using small "x's" in a black pearle cotton thread- - -the red is a very deep red hand dyed piece with the stripes a hand dyed light tan- actually a bit darker than the picture shows. I used up the last of my husband's Army blanket to make this pillow. So it holds special meaning for me for a lot of reasons! Here is what I have so far:. Tails have not been trimmed yet and I had not decided on my border - how big or what color. Yep that is my foot you see in the picture! She is too funny. Just so you can see the back of my hooked piece. Lots of loose strings when using homespun on a rug hooking project. Have a beautiful day!

Primitive and Colonial Decorating. Monday, June 25, 2012. Life is crazy sometimes. So, today was my 1st appointment at Tennessee Oncology. It was a little scary but not too bad. Mostly sad. Seeing the cancer patients losing their hair and so sick. The weird part was all the cancer pamphlets everywhere. Just not accustomed to it but looks like I better get used to it. So, I will start that soon. They wanted me to come tomorrow but the chemo room was overbooked! I will be living my life and not worrying so...
