Autumn comes… |
https://bittyjoys.wordpress.com/2015/09/22/autumn-comes
September 22, 2015. Time slapped me in the face when I approached his grave on Sunday. I had that feeling once again of being knocked to my knees with the pain of it all. I looked at our son’s mound of dark dirt and saw that it is disappearing. It is completely flat now. And it is turning green. You know what is harder than standing beside the fresh dark mound of a child’s grave? Standing by flatness that is covering over in grass. This entry was posted in holidays. Blog at WordPress.com.

Ceaseless Praises: House Hunting
http://ceaselesspraises.blogspot.com/2014/01/house-hunting.html
Thursday, January 23, 2014. We have learned a lot about buying houses this week - and renting! I will share some first-time-home-buyer/renter lessons that I have learned in the past two days. 1 You can make ANYTHING look good on the internet. Anything. 3 All the apartment complexes are 'running a special this week'! How convenient that we happened upon all the specials this week! It doesn't hurt to drive by and check it out! I'm so thankful for God's leading through the last six months, and so excited to...
Ceaseless Praises: Kidlet Hilarity #19
http://ceaselesspraises.blogspot.com/2013/11/kidlet-hilarity-19.html
Friday, November 29, 2013. Lots of hilarious-ness going on around here these past few weeks! I thought I would take a minute to share just a few of the funny things the kids have said lately! It seems like there is always something - I wouldn't even have time to write them all down, I would have to carry a tape recorder around with me to catch every one! One day during school, I asked Zachary if he wanted to do phonics or math next, and he responded, "F is for Phonics! David can climb into the tub now, b...
Ceaseless Praises: February 2014
http://ceaselesspraises.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 21, 2014. SO much has happened since the last time I posted the fun things the kids do and say! Probably the biggest one is that we moved to Georgia! And David started talking a TON more, it is amazing how his vocabulary has grown in the last month - he is finally ready to talk, I guess! David says whoops - "Oopsh" or uh-oh whenever anything falls down! The day before his birthday, Zachary got up and said, "It's my birthday eve! Finally, he said, "Take it easy on me this time! We were di...
Ceaseless Praises: Streets of Gold
http://ceaselesspraises.blogspot.com/2015/03/streets-of-gold.html
Saturday, March 21, 2015. My grandparents with Zachary at 10 months - October 2008. My Grandma passed from death to everlasting life during the night. I can't feel sad for her. I'm picturing her running, dancing, and hugging Jesus. She's with her Savior today! My Grandma was recently diagnosed with cancer. They caught it early, a little spot on her lung. They only need to do some targeted radiation, no chemo yet. But still, cancer is a scary word. A scary thing. I’ve been meaning to call her. T...8221; h...
Ceaseless Praises: Kidlet Hilarity #18
http://ceaselesspraises.blogspot.com/2013/10/kidlet-hilarity-18.html
Sunday, October 13, 2013. It has been almost three months since I've written down all the funny things the kids have said! I have kept track of a few, but I know I've forgotten a lot, too! Here are some gems from the last couple of months! Zachary got a new Monsters University shirt at the end of July, and he wore it to camp one day. One of our friends asked him, "Are you going to go to that Monsters University school? He giggled and replied, "No! It's for monsters.". Before my birthday, the kids were di...
Ceaseless Praises: Mabel's Labels Product Review!
http://ceaselesspraises.blogspot.com/2014/09/mabels-labels-product-review.html
Saturday, September 13, 2014. Mabel's Labels Product Review! A few weeks ago, I received an email asking if I would like a chance to review Mabel's Label's Ultimate Back to School Combo. You bet I would! Here's a picture of the label that has survived six years of kids, camp dining hall life, being washed (occasionally :) ), and moving through three different houses, not to mention the trips and vacations it has joined us on! The Back to School Combo. The second kind of labels included in the combo are c...

Tuesday, December 31, 2013. 2013: The Year In Smiles. Wow, 2013, what a year. I can hardly believe all the changes that God has brought into our lives this year! He has given us so many blessings, and I want to praise Him for each of those, especially for my husband and my children, and how God has grown each of them and made them even more precious to me over this year! So, without further ado, here is the Hart Family 2013 Year in Review! Joel and I celebrated our 10th anniversary! We enjoyed going to c...

April 12, 2016. April 12, 2016. Both family dynamics were neato. Wait When was that again? I never took a box of rubbers from the smoke shop! When I took my friend out of my phone and erased her emails, it felt like a phony and easy ending. Technology is no replacement for a relationship (I mean, come on. We can’t date or marry someone who texts in lieu of meeting in person, right? And it is no replacement for a goodbye. But it was a start. And I never looked back from there. Had I looked back, I’d have ...
Bitty in the City | Where the deer and the SUVs play
Bitty in the City. Confessions of a Lazy Llama. Thousands of years ago, cats were worshipped as gods. Cats have never forgotten this. April 26, 2009, 10:10 am. I called my mom last night to brag to her about how good the National Philharmonic of Russia (which Kenny and I attended on Friday) was. I told her we would probably be going to see China’s Philharmonic in the fall so hopefully she can come to that. She told me how she visited our neighboring farm and that they have 96 sheep. 96! And some new toys.

a little bitty Java | on developing Java™ Micro Edition games
A little bitty Java. On developing Java Micro Edition games. Posted October 12, 2016. Since my previous post. The official development environment for Android changed from Eclipse (with a plugin) to Android Studio. Game I made still works — if anything maybe it’s a little simpler. The instructions are as follows:. Download and install Android Studio. Create a new project with type “Empty Activity” (the default). Add the default green Android icon as an image that the app can use:. Posted July 6, 2014.
