Glimpses of the marginal. Samstag, 25. Mai 2013. Epiphyllum "Bertha Talbot Loose". And here comes one of my favourite. Bertha Talbot Loose". I cannot say who the lady was that gave her name for this magnificent plant. Dark red petals and sepals, with only the inner ring of sepals surprising in pink and white. It usually comes up with a whole bunch of these fine flowers on strong and bulky stems. Not difficult at all to grow and very resistant to rot, sunburn and other deseases. A Picture a Day.

Glimpses of the marginal. Montag, 11. Februar 2013. Last summer in Portugal:. Gold Myst", what a dream in cream and white! This is a very robust and large hybrid with XXL flowers. It took ages to bloom but then finally it happened all at once. A sea of flowers! The only pity is that each of them only lasts for about a day and soon the spectacle was over. Glimpses of the marginal. Freitag, 28. November 2008. Nestcam project 2008 - 6. May, 06; 5 days old great tit babies: Still there and still very hungry! The nest scrape becomes a little packed (look at the chicklet on the left LOL) as the youngsters grow very quickly. You can also already see the buds of the wing feathers beginning to grow.
