MY ORIGAMI: Flat collapsible corrugation!!
http://bk-origami.blogspot.com/2010/02/flat-collapsible-corrugation.html
Thursday, February 11, 2010. Originally uploaded by Bharath Kishore. I've first seen the corrugation here. Which continued to boggle me till I happened to de-mystify it now. I saw the underlying second degree corrugation, but did manage to get the pleats in the right proportion. My earlier attempts led me to a square twist rather than a corrugation. Thursday, February 11, 2010. Originally uploaded by Bharath Kishore. This model has been a thought experiment in my head since long, and now I've put it into practice. I turned out well but I didn't foresee it to get curled up. I expected it to lay flat. However, this ain't so bad. Peek inside the cylinder. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Promote your Page too. MY ORIGAMI: Colossal Dome!!
http://bk-origami.blogspot.com/2010/02/colossal-dome.html
Thursday, February 11, 2010. Originally uploaded by Bharath Kishore. This was actually because of a *tiny* mistake I made in calculating. I actually made it cover a head(human, normal sized :P). But it's just a *little* bigger than that. So it now covers all the stuff on my desk, protecting them from dust and unwanted visitors. :D. Started from a circle abt 40cm in diameter and the model is 25cm across and 15cm high. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Promote your Page too. Uploads from Bharath Kishore.

As I was watching them, I got the idea of combining them and here it is! I just get turned on for craft just by looking at them. I've never such a paper in such vivid colors. For starts I've got only 4 of them(red, yellow, green and cyan). Now I think I'm gonna get a lot more of them. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Promote your Page too.
