And if you've been in NYC, you've seen the movie posters of the Sandman all over the city; on buses, cabs, walls, and train stations everywhere. Just another WordPress.com weblog. Training with Gene Corman. April 27, 2010. Last night I attended class at Aikido Schools of NJ with Gene Corman. Gene is a 5th Dan, who originally came up at NY Aikikai. His Aikido is very good and old school. Meaning very strong and powerful and does no fancy moves. Gene started off the class with some very powerful breathing exercises. Some intense breathing techniques, there was eight to be exact. April 12, 2010. Check back often for a more detailed log of my training.
