http://bkwilliams-catskidsandcrafts.blogspot.com/2014/04/wedding-flowers.html

Cats, Kids and Crafts. Tails and Tales of Amusement, etc. from Western Oklahoma. Monday, April 28, 2014. I put together the flowers for my son's wedding on St. Patrick's Day. Colors were green and purple. I purchased flowers at the Family Dollar store. In various shades of purple and green. Instead of a store bought bouquet base. I cut a round circle out of the side of a plastic. Kitty litter container and made holes all over the circle. I poked the flowers down in the holes to keep them spread out.

Lame Adventures: Halloween Haters

http://ourlameadventures.blogspot.com/2011/10/halloween-haters.html

A weak attempt at recording our lame adventures. Monday, October 31, 2011. I'm very disappointed about Halloween this year. The community where Blondie and I live has effectively banned trick-or-treating. I did not have one trick-or-treater last night. I think it's completely fine for any church to have a Hallelujah Festival, especially on a Sunday evening, but was it really necessary to. Halloween and then have the cowboy contest on the same night? Most of the youngsters who come to my door on Halloween.

Lame Adventures: It's A...

http://ourlameadventures.blogspot.com/2011/11/its.html

A weak attempt at recording our lame adventures. Monday, November 7, 2011. We're going to have a new addition to our little family. Blondie and I are expecting a baby boy this spring. The official due date is February 29, but we'll see when he decides to arrive. We're very excited about this little guy. He's going to be the first grandchild on either side of the family, so there's no doubt that he'll be a little spoiled. Judging from all of the gifts he has already received, I think his grandpare...

Pearl Cabin: May 2012

http://pearlcabin.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html

Thoughts for living small! A pinch of this and a dab of that! Thursday, May 3, 2012. My Little Touch of Retro. Today I have been working in my guest room. My grandson got a new loft bed for Christmas so my daughter asked me to store his box spring. In the interest of saving space - we all know I don't have extra - I put it under the box spring in my guest room. Now the bed is very tall as it has two box springs and a mattress! I wanted to share the look I have created because I really think it's cute!

Pearl Cabin: Sweet Potato Vine

http://pearlcabin.blogspot.com/2013/08/sweet-potato-vine.html

Thoughts for living small! A pinch of this and a dab of that! Monday, August 12, 2013. This pot is home to my early spring salad garden. It also has become a late summer/fall container for more ornamental plants. Within days, the sweet potato started growing. In this picture it had been growing about 10 days. Who knew it would sprout out so quickly? I think I will enjoy its beauty until frost hits. Wonder if I'll harvest sweet potatoes? Posted by Pat Clayton. Gardening in a container. Gardening in a pot.

Pearl Cabin: April 2012

http://pearlcabin.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html

Thoughts for living small! A pinch of this and a dab of that! Monday, April 16, 2012. I so love fresh lettuce and spinach for my salads in the springtime! I water it almost every day if it doesn't rain. About once a week, I add plant food to the water. Today for lunch, I walked out the back door to the deck and harvested the greens for my lunch salad. Pearl Cabin: March 2012

http://pearlcabin.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html

Thoughts for living small! A pinch of this and a dab of that! Sunday, March 18, 2012. Boots for Attic Stairs. I recently had attic stairs installed in my house so I could tap into the abundance of potential storage space. After the stairs were installed and cut to length, they weren't as stable as I would have liked them to be. While shopping for a work light to use for lighting, I ran across these wonderful boots! Their original use is to stabilize a ladder. They are very stylish! Posted by Pat Clayton.

Pearl Cabin: February 2012

http://pearlcabin.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html

Thoughts for living small! A pinch of this and a dab of that! Sunday, February 19, 2012. I have some wonderful frozen boneless skinless chicken breast in my freezer. The problem is that they have been there too long and are beginning to show signs of freezer burn. I couldn't help but think it is a horrible waste to thrown them away. As I was bemoaning the wastefulness of it all, Louise and Joey came padding into the utility room. Then it came to me - dog food! Posted by Pat Clayton. Links to this post.

Pearl Cabin: June 2012

http://pearlcabin.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html

Thoughts for living small! A pinch of this and a dab of that! Friday, June 22, 2012. I've fallen in love with the wedge salad that is served in restaurants. While I enjoy eating out, I don't want to eat out often. One of these salads can cost $11 or so. I finally figured out that I can make one at home that is easy, quick and for much less. I collected the ingredients:. Head of lettuce - $1.14. Chunky Blue Cheese Salad Dressing - $1.99. Bleu Cheese Crumbles - $2.37. Cherry Tomatoes from my Garden. I like...

The continuation of the Wild and Wonderful BK10. We all just returned from a week plus in Florida. Sam had a baseball tournament there. So 9 of us all traveled down to Orlando for fun in the sun and to watch baseball. Sam’s team went further than the last time there were there. Sam pitched an amazing last game even though they ended up losing. The score was 3 – 2 in the end. It was a great game. Six games of baseball is just not enough! Fun, Fun and more Fun! That is just startling. I remember well t...
