As an Alice in Wonderland fan, in some ways I kind of see Alice in Coraline’s shoes, because of her curiousness (that led her to another world where she almost got herself in danger), as well as her bravery despite being scared to death of the “other” mother who wants to keep her – and her soul as well. At first, the edging machine seems to be very uncooperative but with the guidance and help of our teacher again, I managed to sew there peacefully. I asked teacher if for example, in the future, we are the ones who make our clothes, do we really need to use the Edging Machine every time we sew? She replied, “Yes…it’s really needed.” J.
