This was the final day of this leg and a short day of walking alone to break the long stage to Ingleby Cross. The day was mostly dry with some brief drizzle. Our cottage at gunnerside. Again I followed the Swale at the start and then across farmland and roads over to Danby Wiske where I stopped for lunch at the Swan Inn before pushing on to the car parked on the A167 at Oaktree top opposite the car garage.
