Poetry From A Heart

Poetry From A Heart. Thursday, March 29, 2007. In our moments of need we shall be lucky. In the safety of our minds hides our own. An oasis of sanctity and serenity. A place for respite from the ever going. The speeding of daily routine. Continously flowing in a steady current. Streaming through the streets like a torrential. Flooding moment filled with bodies. Conveying thoughts that hold their own. Secretive devious wisdom that can. Lead to destruction of self. For we have our own. The puddles grew and...

Poetry From A Heart: August 2005

http://www.blackheartedpoetry.blogspot.com/2005_08_01_archive.html

Poetry From A Heart. Friday, August 12, 2005. They thought it would be. But they were yet to see. Men came by the thousands. The young and the old. To fight for their country. To be seen as bold. But so wrong they were. When they entered the fight. Death all around them. They thought they'd be right. Down in the trenches. Fear filled the air. Not a moment of silence. The men to themselves, lying. By the end of the war. Most survivors were wounded. With scars none could hide. But decades have passed.

Poetry From A Heart: In The Silence Of The Night

http://www.blackheartedpoetry.blogspot.com/2006/07/in-silence-of-night.html

Poetry From A Heart. Saturday, July 22, 2006. In The Silence Of The Night. In the silence of the night,. Footsteps echo in the hall. The dim lights flicker quickly,. As she backs against the wall. She pushes gently against the door,. And takes a deep breathe in. The cold air rushes to meet her,. As rubs her clothes so thin. In the light from the moon,. She runs into the trees. Her feet lightly hit the grass,. As she so quietly flees. Posted by Black and White Roses at 5:43 PM. Black and White Roses.

Poetry From A Heart. Thursday, August 03, 2006. Fiery Winter (a series of haiku). Strip trees of their fiery. Red, orange, yellow. Little flames falling from the. Melt upon these little sparks. The sun and moon will. Rise and fall after our deaths. As will Winter's cold. Posted by Black and White Roses at 9:30 PM. I never could fully do haikus, but it seems like you pulled them off to perfection. Another fantastic poem. i really like the winter theme! Black and White Roses. Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

Poetry From A Heart: Walking To Our Futures

http://www.blackheartedpoetry.blogspot.com/2006/07/walking-to-our-futures.html

Poetry From A Heart. Sunday, July 30, 2006. Walking To Our Futures. Some run away from life. As we walk towards it. We search for our futures. While others simply quit. We walk through the day. We stumble through the night. The stars our only guides. The moon our only light. We walk through the grass. We walk through the sand. Our shoes worn out and useless. We walk forever through the land. We pass through forests. We cross over streams. Are our dreams lost forever? Because that's how it seems.

The good, the bad and the terrible poetry of Sarah: January 2008

http://poetry-sarah.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html

The good, the bad and the terrible poetry of Sarah. Sunday, January 20, 2008. Boardwalk, where do you lead? Feet have strolled upon your faded wood? Do you have stories in your years less. You carry people to a greater place than. Has anyone stumbled into her shallow waters? My words hiss insults as she trembles,. Snaking away from me. Faithful boardwalk. You are forever beneath me. She says our path is never straight. Neither are you. Boardwalk: you wind,. Cavorting between bush and lake - a bridge.

http://poetry-sarah.blogspot.com/2007/11/collection-of-three.html

The good, the bad and the terrible poetry of Sarah. Sunday, November 25, 2007. A Collection of Three. Weaving through the earths knuckles. Contours of something more. Free to inspire at will. But miraculous when used. Can depict and portray. In shapes or words. Yet a single group. A mere collection of lines. Can mean the death. The loss of life. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). http://poetry-sarah.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html

The good, the bad and the terrible poetry of Sarah. Sunday, November 25, 2007. Grass swayed in time to the radio, golden. Like Dana's wayward hair floating as tornado wind. Blew into the car. We were driving to the horizon, but. It kept avoiding us, as if it were travelling too. Dana said we were escaping, but I didn't know. From what. So we didn't stop to bask. In the emptiness of the plains, or wonder. Why we spoke so little: silence. Became our uninvited passenger, uncomplicated but present. Http:/ bl...

The good, the bad and the terrible poetry of Sarah: Charred By Passion

http://poetry-sarah.blogspot.com/2007/11/charred-by-passion.html

The good, the bad and the terrible poetry of Sarah. Sunday, November 25, 2007. They are matchstick men. Fragile, skinny, weak. But they have the uncanny ability. To create a fire, a passion. It burns from head to toe. So bright, alive, glowing. The heat is infectious. It passes between the matchstick men. Soon they are all ablaze. So beautiful, pure, golden. But when the wind comes. All that is left are ashes. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A Collection of Three. View my complete profile.
