Wednesday, 16 July 2008. 160; . 160; Last weekend I spent a little time taking photographs for a new website for a beautifully located little pub in the Churnet valley. At Consall Forge Lies right next to the Churnet valley Railway and the Caldon canal near to the Consall Forge nature reserve. Now under new management and spruced up quite a bit, we sampled a meal there and have to say that if you like traditional fare You can't go far wrong. Thanks to Jason and Hayley for their hospitality.

Saturday, 15 March 2008. It's always nice to be invited back to a clients home for another shoot, and last weekend I had just such an opportunity. Evie had a shoot with me a couple of years back and she's always a joy to work with, and a real natural in front of a lens. Just a quick preview and a very big thank you to Karen and Martin for inviting me to photograph their wonderful weddng yesterday at the Hallmark hotel in Derby. Luckily the weather held back it's worst until the late evening (can't believe my luck this year! Karen looked amazing with a wonderful gown, and there were plenty of Martins mates around all suited and booted and with a great sense of humour. Thanks for everything guys, hope you like these.
