Monday, December 12, 2005. So now it just seems like i'm making this up, but currently, i am experiencing severe flu-like symptoms minus a cold. I'm going to bed now, but i just wanted to put a reminder up here to write about how pleasant saturday evening was (but definitely not sunday). Posted by oxymoron @ 2:34 PM. Sunday, April 30, 2006. As succintly as i can, the rest of my spring break trip:. By the start of the second week, my friend and i split in two directions, one heading to guadalajara, the other to el d.f. (distrito federal). One of the world's most populous cities (i'm pretty sure its population is two-thirds the pop. of canada). Mexico city was everything i'd hoped it'd be. Even the super-macho phys. ed. teacher loved it! On the floating gardens of xochimilco. There were cooks and maids and drivers and ...

Friday, March 31, 2006. My ibook has crapped out on me. :( seriously. all it does when i turn it on now is show a gray screen! I can't believe i've lost all the junk i had on it. i had almost a straight week's worth of songs on my itunes. I have a few trips to write about, so i will have to hunker myself down in front of a staff computer at school sometime and just churn it all out. (mental note: yelapa trip, barra de navidad/colima trip, and most likely spring break trip, too). View my complete profile.

Saturday, October 29, 2005. A hallowe'en festival was held at the school last night (mexicans don't really celebrate hallowe'en- they celebrate something on nov. 2 called dia de los muertos. Some of my students' costumes were pretty ingenious- a grade 10 student dressed up as edward scissorhands and had some awesome, authentic-looking scissorhands (they could've put someone's eye out though! Monday, November 28, 2005. Alright. i’ve come to accept that seeing students when i go out is inevitable. Last weekend, lisa and i went out for a really nice dinner at a place a co-worker recommended called archie’s wok. We were so stuffed afterwards that we walked the malecon about five times, and after we got sick of doing that, we decided to go to de santos. I personally wish we’d walked around the block first just to cover our tracks a bit, but lisa walked right in, so i followed her. This all brings...
