Derek, Lori Ann, and Cooper. Monday, June 13, 2011. Summer is finally here! D and I are so excited to have the summer off together for the first time. We have some big plans for the summer. Probably the biggest is remodeling our kitchen. I can't wait! Here are some other goals I/we have for the summer:. Of the closets in our house. Take a bunch of clothes and home goods to Goodwill. I don't like to run. Visit my sweet nephews-still working on this one, but we're planning to go out there at some point:).

We've relaxed, moved half of my classroom boxes(the district is moving the other half) to my new school, and spent time with our high school kids. We'll add a few trips in there, but that's pretty much what our summer looks like. Last summer we ran around like crazy and remodeled our kitchen, so we're looking forward to a relaxing summer! Friday, July 27, 2012. Emily loves to pick flowers for her Mama! We have to search for colorful ones and it usually involves large fields and casual walks. Nothing hurried with this little girl! And once the flowers have been ever so carefully selected, she sings all the way back to the car. It was a good day! Flowers, pink coat and shoes, slow shuffle. singing on the journey.
