Sharing the good, the bad and the ugly. Thursday, November 5, 2009. It is kinda hard to tell from this picture, but Cinderella is not so very happy. She had to trade her glass slippers in for pink tennis shoes as her Cinderella shoes were hurting her feet and not up for the journey! We call these the after Halloween costumes. As J. says, this was the result of too much candy! We had a great time and while the kids enjoyed the trick or treating, we adults just enjoyed the time together.

Monday, September 13, 2010. Good-bye for now, Mama Jackie. It's amazing how fast life can change. This past Friday my grandmother, Mama Jackie, passed away at the hospital. She had some issues, but we didn't think she wouldn't make it through. She always 'had' issues that turned out to be nothing or at least something that can be fixed, but this time, it was kidney failure. A shock to my mom and aunts. Mama Jackie, say hello to all our loved ones that have gone before and I'll see you again.

Saturday, February 28, 2009. The Best Day Ever. Today was a rare treat for us. The kids' class from church went on an outing to a place called Monkey Business. Which meant that Jamie and I had most of the day to ourselves! 160;It has been wonderful. As you can imagine we do not have that very often. . 160;I love you very much!
