Tuesday, November 28, 2006. He tenido la primera entrevista, responsable de distribución, equipo de 3 a 5 personas a cargo. A la espera estoy de la segunda entrevista. Tener una entrevista mañana, me da las ganas de preguntar: qué posibilidades hay de crecer en la empresa? Una de las razones de marcharme de ECI era por que en 3 años me veía en la misma silla, con la misma jefa cascarrabias, intentado solucionar los mismos problemas. La sueltas: Qué posibilidades hay de promocionarte dentro de la empresa?

Monday, December 11, 2006. Domingo por la tarde en Madrid: Comercio Justo. Me enseñaron ayer una presentación, al título de mira las cosas que circulan por aquí . La presentación se titula COMERCIO JUSTO. Como yo entiendo las cosas, el comercio justo se basa en comercializar productos locales a precios justos, garantizando que los beneficios repercutirán directamente en la comunidad local, y sin que intermediaros se beneficien del proceso. An update that will serve as excuse for not writing in nearly three weeks. 1- we had the engagement party: cooked for more than 30 people. 2- next week on Monday and when the house was still a mess Cirque du Soleil called again. 3- on Tuesday I had an interview. 4- on Wednesday I was sitting behind my new desk. 5- a weekend of deserved rest. 6- on Wednesday evening we took a plane to Spain and stayed until Monday. The party was great: food and drinks I shall post the pics on flikr.

Monday, January 30, 2006. A year ago yesterday my mum died. A year ago today I spent the day in the morgue receiving friends and family. A day tomorrow my mum was buried. Tomorrow starts then my second year without her. I spent the day around the house. Sweet morning with Jolyon on the sofa. Worked a bit on the thesis. Took a walk around the park. Went to Saar’s birthday party. Baked banana bread. Wrote an application letter for a vacancy in Off the Fence. Going today to the premiere of Langer Licht.

Thursday, January 25, 2007. The last month in numbers. My last post was very optimistic. Shame I broke my toe the day after. I was very much looking forward going to the UK for Xmas.Was looking forward to wear my fancy super high heel boots, forget about improving my job hunting skills and booze booze booze. So I spent Xmas in sofa’s and wheelchairs. It’s not painful anymore, but as I want to wear high heels when I’m 80, I’ll be a good girl. So: still not going for walks. Cv sent to: 12 companies.

Monday, November 27, 2006. Entre primavera y otoño, está el verano. Llegamos a Madrid en mayo. Un mes tardamos en tener el abc de una nueva vida en una nueva ciudad: un piso un trabajo. Un piso cerca del Retiro, un trabajo en El Corte Inglés. Así pasaba el verano. En el piso cada vez se vivía mejor, en el trabajo cada vez peor. Daba un poco igual, por que pagaba las facturas, pagaba la boda, y el derecho a ir de luna de miel con el sueldo pagado. Días antes de la boda:. OK Go - Here It Goes Again.
