http://mooresforsuchatimeasthis.blogspot.com/2008/09/meet-newest-member-of-our-family.html
For Such a Time as This. Saturday, September 13, 2008. Meet the Newest Member of Our Family. We are now the proud owners of a dog! Kelsey has been wanting a puppy forever, so we decided that she could have one for her 10th birthday. He is a little bit early as her birthday is not for a week and a half, but she is so excited to have him. He soon fell asleep and did great the rest of the way home. He is now passed out cold in his kennel.so apparently it has been an exciting day for him as well! There are 4...

For Such a Time as This: Adoption Update
http://mooresforsuchatimeasthis.blogspot.com/2009/07/happy-early-4-th-of-july-we-are.html
For Such a Time as This. Friday, July 3, 2009. Happy (early) 4 th. We are enjoying the first day of our three day weekend. We ran a ton of errands this morning, so now we can get some things done at home and spend the rest of the weekend with family and friends. We are making progress on our paperwork. I think the only thing we have left for our homestudy. Is our medical reports which will be done in the next 10 days or so. We went yesterday to be fingerprinted. There was a LOT of misunderstanding. Detai...

Team Stewart: July 2012
http://teamstews.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 17, 2012. I have been remiss in keeping everyone up-to-date with all that is happening in our lives! That’s because we are having fun and keeping busy! I will try to re-visit these past months in reverse order…. Be patient.it's a LONG post! I can leave them with the staff and never worry that they will hear bad language or topics that are inappropriate…a rarity these days…. That leads me back to Nina’s “Gotcha Day” that was just on July 14. Rewinding even more…to Jesse’s 7. Birthday. Af...

For Such a Time as This. Saturday, August 23, 2008. The First Two Weeks of School. The first 10 days of ECC do a nice job of introducing globes, different kinds of maps, and atlases. We also started discussing other religions, and that not everyone believes the same things we do. I think this year will be very eye opening for all of us, and will hopefully give us a greater heart for missions. Caleb loved the Creation unit and was SO proud of his book at the end. Instead of having him find specific letter...

For Such a Time as This. Tuesday, May 5, 2009. It's a Miracle.I'm Blogging! I'm sitting here looking at my blog, wondering how in the world it has been six months since I've done this. It has been a long, crazy, wonderful (in a nightmare-ish, weird sort of way), gone in a blink of an eye six months. October and November were full of more doctor's appointments for me.all to conclude that nobody knows what is wrong! The first week of January, we placed a contract on a house.FINALLY! Per capita, Ethiopia re...

For Such a Time as This: Pumpkins!
http://mooresforsuchatimeasthis.blogspot.com/2008/10/pumpkins.html
For Such a Time as This. Monday, October 13, 2008. I love fall. I love the cooler weather, the colors, and pumpkins. The past few years we got our pumpkins from a semi-local farm where we also pick berries throughout the year. This fall, I was feeling the need for cooler weather (there are years that we get our pumpkins in shorts! We decided to take our picnic lunch to a nearby state park to eat and hang out for awhile. It was a beautiful day! What more could you ask for? I saw the crazy crowds in your p...

For Such a Time as This. Friday, April 18, 2008. Our sweet Miss Abby celebrated her birthday today.again. We celebrated last week in Disney because we knew there would not be any extended family to celebrate with today. Her birthday dinner at Disney was at Cinderella's Gala Feast at 1900 Park Fare. What more could a little girl ask for than for Cinderella (AND cousins! To be present at her birthday celebration? The whole dinner was fabulous. The step-mother and step-sisters were a hit with everyone.

Team Stewart: January 2013
http://teamstews.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Sunday, January 20, 2013. Brady's fifth birthday was this past Monday. This is the first year I was not able to be present for one of my children's birthdays. :( Nina was not discharged until the day after Brady's birthday, so we were stuck at the hospital, missing out on all the birthday fun.(insert pity party here). However, Daddy managed his birthday celebration, and did a GREAT job of it! And, the grandparents filled in the "blanks" left by our absence. Today is Charlie and Gracie's first birthday...

Tuesday, April 8, 2014. At Seattle Children's Hospital for surgery. This is Nina about 16 months ago when she was nearing the time where they could take out her breathing tube, after being on life support for weeks, after experiencing heart failure and a lung collapse after open heart surgery to fix a congenital heart defect we were not aware she had until she had been home with us for almost a year and a half. Unfortunately, 6 weeks later, we realized that she was rapidly losing weight and becoming frai...
