Die erste Rennrunde auf der Nordschleife - schon von weiten hört man das Dröhnen der Motoren, der Pulsschlag geht höher, die alten Lautsprecher-Membranen krächzen in den Ohren. Ich hab den Geruch des Äthers heut noch in der Nase. Namen wie Manuel Fangio, Wolfgang Graf Berghe von Trips oder Jochen Rind schwirren durch meinen Kopf. Mehr wissen die Experten vor Ort.
