Sunday, January 30, 2005. Well, once in awhile you have to "eat a little crow" and today is one of those days. The elections in Iraq went off pretty good it seems despite our nay saying and serious doubts. If you have to be wrong, it is good to be wrong when other people benefit from something good. Bravo to the Iraqi people for their courage, their stamina, and their dreams. Posted by Dor @ 4:54 PM. Wednesday, January 26, 2005. Will we learn nothing? Posted by Dor @ 10:32 AM. Thursday, July 22, 2004. Goodbye for awhile. We are off to the beach for some fun, sun, and relaxation. Maybe while I am there, my mind will be free to explore some new blog ideas. Don't forget to enjoy your summer days - get Chris to fire up that new grill and party a night away! Posted by Dor @ 11:06 AM. Monday, July 19, 2004. To all you guys out there! And, why can't you remember where you left your keys, your cap, your wallet, your glasses, your blah, blah, blah? Posted by Dor @ 12:21 PM. They are al...

Thursday, April 28, 2005. How even to be! Purpose is a heavy word - even the sound of it is heavy when it rolls around your tongue. But, I like purpose. I like feeling purposeful. And, when everything changes, when your definition no longer fits (especially the definition you like), well, life is confusing. Coming out on the other end will happen, but right now it just feels heavily unpuproseful and I miss what was. Posted by Dor @ 11:12 AM. Friday, April 08, 2005. I just fit the stereotype. And why?

Monday, February 28, 2005. Tonight, right now, I am really tired of being a woman. I am really tired of taking care of everyone else, figuring everyone else out, planning their fun and excitement, and picking up all the "have to's" along the way. I am really f* * * tired of it. Oh yeh, this is a break - yeah, for everyone else except me! For the "me" who has to worry about the dogs, the sheets, the food, the parents (of those friends that are coming), the damn toilet paper. Yeh, are we having fun now!

Sunday, October 31, 2004. If the Redskins had to lose, this is the week to do it. I will take whatever I can to get Kerry to win. Let's hope the old Redskin's curse holds true. But, wow, made for an interesting Halloween day in this house. On to Tuesday! Posted by Dor @ 4:45 PM. Thursday, October 21, 2004. And, then they grow more! One just has to hang on till it comes. Posted by Dor @ 8:12 AM. Monday, October 18, 2004. Please, please, everyone vote! I have a 17 year old that I am so worried about with t...

Well, that light at the end of the proverbial tunnel - christmas, spring break, SUMMER! So, why is it then that i get to those places and BLAT! Do i not deserve it? Does this happen to only me?

Monday, October 10, 2005. Do not ever discount a woman scorned! My theory is and always has been -. Barbara Bush wanted her husband vindicated for the First Gulf War. She therefor set out to get one of her sons elected - namely ignorant George! She needed someone to get him elected - voila - Carl Rove! She needed a cold blooded VP - voila - Dick Cheney! 9/11 gave them the reason they wanted and planned on - war with Iraq. Harriet Miers put up for the Supreme Court - give me a break! And, don't ever, ever...

Tuesday, August 31, 2004. Political statement of the day! With all this talk of terrorism and the war on the same at the GOP convention this week, we seem to have forgotten the most important name of all - BIN LADEN! How, over the last few years, have we managed to forget that name? Isn't HE the guy we should have gone after, isn't HE the one that attacked our country? And Bravos for Michael Moore for laughing his way through last nights jabs! And Curses on the delegates for their purple heart band-aids!

Thursday, December 23, 2004. A most blessed and happy holiday season to ALL! Posted by Dor @ 5:57 PM. Tuesday, December 21, 2004. Just days before today's horrific attack on our soldiers in Iraq, Bush was voted Time Magazines Man of the Year! What are we thinking? And, now, AFTER the elections, latest polls show that support for this war and Bush's handling of it are way down! Well, isn't that interesting! Where were these people when it was time to vote? Friday, April 23, 2004. Just when you are feeling the most alone and scared, something sweet comes into your life - a phone call from your baby grandson and a son saying - just thought you could use a talk with your grandson, and that is followed up by a call from your mom where you laugh and talk like you haven't in ages. How is it known that you needed this? Posted by Dor @ 10:25 AM. Thursday, April 22, 2004. I don't understand why everything seems to happen at once! Posted by Dor @ 7:29 AM. The wonder...
