Monday, August 3, 2015. Today is 9 months since I said good bye to my Tater Dog. DONT CRY BECAUSE ITS OVER. SMILE BECAUSE IT HAPPENED. Some tears and many ( HUGS) my friend. Sunday, January 27, 2013. Well the sun has been shining and the wind hasn't been TOO bad - everyone around here is talking about the s-word: Spring! We've been lucky enough to be able to walk out at our friend Shelly and Steve's place. On the weekends they come with their dogs, Bella and Fresca - the two girls are littermates and *tolerate* Cedar (just)! Doggy 'cave art' on the coulee slope. Mmmmm, fresh river water. Tastes like goose poo and cold, with an undertone of dust particulates. Yeah I got wet!

Tuesday, July 30, 2013. We were lucky to have Kona's "boyfriend" visit us for a week. Boy Wonder (Ch Flyway Farm's Boom Boom Pow SH WCX* ) is a sweet, easy-going flat-coat with lots of energy and character. It was a great opportunity to get to know this lovely dog better. I think he enjoyed his prairie visit! Thank-you so much to Xan Latta for letting us borrow Boy and use him at stud. Kona is her usual happy and active self and is still enjoying some field training. Just a bit under four weeks to go.
