Thursday, April 21, 2011. For Christmas, Mark's parents rented a house on O'ahu in Hawaii for the family. We were initially going to go over Christmas, but the flights were extremely expensive, so we decided on the kids Spring Break. I'm glad we waited, the weather was amazing! We had so much fun! We came to the conclusion that it just wasn't going to work.so we're back home! But, in my head, I am planning my next Hawaiian vacation! Here's what we did:. Tour of a Cocoa bean farm. Monday, January 3, 2011. We had a fabulous Christmas this year! Mark was home, finally. The kids were super excited to have him back home and so was I. He had been gone for over a month, first to Germany and then off to Hawaii! He was home only 42 hours in between each job! Since my parents were on their mission, I decided that we still needed to keep up the Mellor family tradition of Christmas morning breakfast. It was fun! We had a french toast bar and a Honey Baked Ham, yummy! ALYSSA MAREE BARLOW FUND.

Wednesday, February 9, 2011. HE MISSES HIS DADDY. My sweet little Riley sings to his Dad everytime he calls home. The song usually goes something like this, "Daddy I miss you, when are you coming home, how long will you be gone, I miss you Daddy".and then he says "Bye" and hands the phone to someone else. Honestly, he does this everytime he calls. We do miss Mark.but when he's home.the kids can't get enough of him! February 11, 2011 at 11:23 PM. That is really cute! February 12, 2011 at 12:39 PM.

Oh yes that is what I said when Mark told me he'd be leaving for his next job a week after getting home from Dubai (remember he was gone for 3-months on that job). Seriously! So Guam it is.the last thing he said was I'll see you in June.isn't that a comforting statement! What an amazing man.he is making great sacrifices for his family and I appreciate that! But, I might add a bit jealous of his travels. I HOPE THEY CALL ME ON A MISSION! Good luck Mom and Dad!

He's my best friend, a great husband, wonderful father, and an all-around great guy. Here's to many more anniversaries.love you babe! This is the first year Riley could play soccer. He is loving it. Her recital just happened to be the night of Grandpa Ned's funeral. It was a hard day and I really don't know how my parents managed to come to her recital after such a trying day.
