Free Mini baseball hats. Check (special check because of the ice cream that came in the hats). Spectacular view of downtown Rochester. Check (We even got to see trains go by). Zalman on the Go! Melanie and David try to keep everyone posted on our travels. Saturday, February 28, 2015. After non eventful trip to Guayaquil, we arrived at our hotel around midnight, had the requisite "welcome" piña colada and hit the sack. Up again this morning just after 5 and we're heading out to our next flight to Puerto Baquerizo were we get to walk the Malecon (waterfront) in San Cristobal before boarding the ship. Currently using wifi at the hotel. Will post again next time there is signal.

We arrived at Rachel and Chads around 6:00 Friday evening for a short visit. Poor Noah had just been diagnosed with strep so was, shall we say, somewhat fragile. In other completely unrelated news, we picked up our first of two winter shares from our local farm and we have SO many veggies! This was well over 50lbs. Our share included, but was not limited to, potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, leeks, garlic, squash, pumpkin, kale, lettuce, radishes, turnips, Brussels sprouts, cabbage, carrots, beets, and collards.Bok choy, anyone?
