Friday, September 16, 2016. This week, we made 3 copies of our flower, and learned how to apply color and shading. Details all the different color and shading options in Blender, if you want to check it out. Here are my flowers with complete shading:. These are the shading options I used:. The purple flower's petals are glass BSDF, and the center is Translucent BSDF. The orange ones petals and center are both Diffuse BSDF. The yellow one's petals and center are both Anisotropic BSDF.

We started with a simple cube and transformed it, adding legs, arms, a mouth, eyes, and hands. We then smoothed everything out with a subsurface modifier, making it look more realistic.
