Saturday, April 3, 2010. I know, I know. I've been Missing in Action.for about a month. So why I did I just drop off the grid? Well, where do I start? Sunday, June 28, 2015. This past week our family when on a vacation to Destin Beach in Florida. When had so much fun and such wonderful weather. Especially since it rained ammost everyday back home. Here is our family picture at the beach. Here is a cute close up of baby girl. It took her three days to warm up to the sand. She would not walk in it or even touch it. Can you just imagine the stressed out momma at the beach with a clingy child not wanting to touch the sand at all? We finally made it!

The LaPorte Family: August 2014
http://lovinglaportefamily.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 13, 2014. 1st Day of School. The day has finally arrived. Landon thought it would never come, and I never wanted it to come. Today was his 1st Day of Kindergarten! Here are some pictures we took before we left for school and then some more in his classroom. He said he had a wonderful day. What more could I ask for? He thinks his teacher is nice, he can see mommy whenever he wants (this is something we will have to work on), and he gets to be a pirate! He is super excited for tomorrow!

http://itssewsweet.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 30, 2009. Make the Season Bright. I love Christmas time. I love everything about it: the music, the decorations, the spirit of goodwill that seems to permeate the air. It's no great surprise that I love the Christmas Season.I was born on Christmas Day. Off to the the hospital they went and at 8pm Christmas Day I made my entrance. http://itssewsweet.blogspot.com/2010/02/be-mine.html
Monday, February 1, 2010. My poor, little neglected blog. I didn't mean to leave you unattended so long, but this darn thing called "life" keeps getting the way. Kids, housework, running a 1/2 marathon.etc. etc. Been sewing, I just haven't had time to stop and write about it. What have I been working on? Last summer I found this adorable Alexander Henry "For My Valentine" fabric on the clearance rack at the fabric store. I just love the vintage look of this fabric. I love these cute little dresses. T...
