So this week we finished up a few activites I wanted the kids to complete last week, but we didn't get around to it. We did some more "A" activites:. And an Apple Tree Handprint page! This is how it works…. Posted on my fridge is this. If you notice, each kid has their own clothespin with their name on it:. First off, I’ll explain the clip up chart. At the end of the day, they earn tickets- based upon where their clothespin is. They keep all their tickets in the front of their school binder (each kid has their own)- so no tickets get lost. Last weekend we went to Joplin with our church to help with the disaster relief. The kids have been wanting to help ever since the tornado did it's damage. but the church has been working with Samaritans Purse with cleanup, and lets face it 5 children all 7 and under might not do so well around all the dangerous debris. Monday, March 5, 2012. I'm so behind.again! Oh well, at least I'm working on it now. We had a lot of stuff happen in February, I wish I would've taken more pictures. Asher did some color mixing for school. Aybrin had a birthday so we celebrated for a couple of weeks! We water colored some Japanese Wood carvings for our Japan week. For Russia we talked about the Tundra and the Permafrost layer. This is our science experiment from that country. We finally got to go to the Titanic's Ice Sculpting contest!
