Wednesday, June 5. Yellowstone - Day 1. We are reviving the blog to share pictures and tips on Yellowstone! We went to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons last July and had a wonderful time. Meg and Katie still talk about how much fun they had and how they'd like to go back some day. After setting up camp, we drove north to meet up with friends in Mammoth Springs. Along the way, we stopped for a picnic lunch and a short hike at Sheepeater Cliffs. Hike along the river. Erin, Katie, and Meg at Sheepeater Cliff.

Wednesday, June 5. Yellowstone - Day 5. On Sunday, day 5, we woke up very early (5am) to drive to Lamar Valley. To view the wildlife. It is a 60-90 minute drive from Madison to Lamar Valley, and we wanted to be there early to hopefully see the wolves. We did end up seeing a wolf, along with lots of pronghorn and bison. It was a gorgeous drive and so nice to experience it without crowds. It was well worth getting up early for! Grizzly cub fan club. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Yellowstone - Day 1.

Monday, April 18. Wednesday, April 13. This year for Spring Break we traveled to San Diego and met up with Toby, Aunt Robin, and Grandma and Grandpa H. We spent two fun-filled days at Legoland. Katie and Meg were finally tall enough to ride the only ride they had never tried at Legoland - the "car rollercoaster". They loved it! More Fun at Legoland. Wheee hands up on the rollercoasters. Toby and Katie wait for a 4-D show to start. We also enjoyed 2 full days at the beach. Sunday, April 10.

Wednesday, June 5. Grand Tetons - Day 7. On Tuesday, day 7, we took an early morning boat ride across Jenny Lake. We hiked past Hidden Falls and Inspiration Point, into Cascade Canyon. And were rewarded with spectacular scenery. Meg at Inspiration Point. Hiking further up and further in. The water was icy cold, but it felt great. On our hike back to the boat dock we saw a bull moose! We went back to Colter Bay for showers and ice cream, and had dinner at our campsite that night. Yellowstone - Day 1.

I try to always give them what they want and provide what they need no matter what! I do say no sometimes but on what i think are the little stupid things. With my kids being teenagers I have been having some problem with their attitude especially with my Adam, you know how those teenage years can be hard at times! That broke my heart!
