Sunday, August 22, 2010. We have some exciting news! We are expecting a Valentine's baby! I'm 15 weeks along and everything is going wonderfully so I thought it would be ok to officially announce it. I'm currently on bed rest for a small placental tear but its been lightened to "princess" bed rest as my perinatalogist put it. I can't work, cook or clean but Dustin says I can shop :). Really it's not a lot different from the official bed rest I was on last week but I can leave the house now.

Monday, March 15, 2010. Yeah Dad, you have it pretty luck right now.but you know people arent jealous of your job when you have to stay up all night cutting hay or chase in 50 crazy cows all by yourself. The people who know you well know how hard you and mom work! And we are especially glad you know how to play.hopefully you get to take out your snowmobiles one more time this year. :). Wednesday, December 12, 2012. Sadly, the projects still aren't done. I lost all momentum when the curtains that started it all turned out to be too short. So I need to make more and I was pretty burned out of making 10 foot curtains. Then it turned out I was pregnant and all my energy and motivation was sucked clean dry. Sunday, January 8, 2012. I'll take some pictures once we're unpacked a bit more but we closed on our house on December 28th and we're all moved in! Alex is still attending his old school and we intend to keep him there through the end of the school year. The drive is quite a bit farther but he'll be able to attend the cool field trip in May. Tuesday, May 8, 2012. Alex turned 10 last month. We had a family party at Cici's Pizza and that went over really well. He was given some new Wii games along with clothes, cooking lessons and money that he's used to buy more Skylander characters. Unfortunately he also created a Facebook account with his stepmom and didn't tell me so he lost all electronic media for a week and had to write some apology letters and an essay. A Happy Hodson Family. Wednesday, May 9, 2012. Sure enough, just as I thought Nicole just needed some one on one time with her teacher to get the confidence she needed to skate on her own. She could stay up on her own before, she just didn't have the confidence. As you can see in the pictures, she did AMAZING! If I can get the video to load, you can see Nicole skating around. A Happy Hodson Family. Thursday, March 15, 2012. Nicole cut her hair. Oh boy, I couldn't really tell how much she did until I saw her dance around at ballet. Nicole did a pretty good job at getting the hair around her face. Her hair was in a braid on one side, so that saved a lot of the top hair. The very back remained uncut by her hands, at least until the weekend. When talking with Grandma and Grandpa (my parents) they suggested that Nicole get a hair cut like her cousin Justin! A Happy Hodson Family. Saturday, September 22, 2012. You are in San Diego, and it's Labor Day. What do you do? Why, go to the beach of course! The thing about the beach is that you have to know that the morning brings the possibility of marine layer, which is overcast and makes the beach less than warm, espeically with the Pacific cold ocean.
