This is where I whine, declare, and surmise. Hope for the future. As the GOP race continues, I’m still holding out hope that Trump will not acquire any of the other candidate’s supporters. And that gives me hope that either Marco or Ted will end up being the nominee. Here’s what I hope to unravel as we move forward. Filibuster of any nominee by King Barry for SCOTUS. Ted Elected, fills cabinet with Marco, Carly, Ben, and others. Nominates Judge Ken Starr to SCOTUS. Removing suppressors from the NFA.

This is where I whine, declare, and surmise. 8220;By his secret watering the Spirit makes us fruitful to bring forth the buds of righteousness.”. Yesterday afternoon my dad’s cousin, Ron Carpenter, passed away after a battle with COPD. It came a little quick however. A few of our Camarillo family were able to arrive in time to care for him. His daughter was able to arrive within minutes. Us Carpenter’s are sad to lose him, yet hold onto hope that the Lord saved him for future glory. April 5, 2016. I have...

This is where I whine, declare, and surmise. Wanna see the notes pastors use? Josh Harris recently did a sweet blog series where he had several well known pastor/teachers send him their notes for a specific sermon. Kinda cool to see the different styles and such. Go check it out! He doesn’t tag categories, so I had to link to a all his posts on pastors and leaders.). Click to email this to a friend (Opens in new window). Click to print (Opens in new window). This is where I whine, declare, and surmise. I know many of you detest bamboo. I forgive you. I have a special place in my heart for it! It’s smells great, brings the best green colors to a California Central Coast sand garden, and can really make the windy areas more palatable. (And it also makes for a possible alternate resource in a wide variety of situations, oft referred to as SHTF scenarios.). Horrible descriptions, I know. And Pinterest can get all the glory it deserves and doesn’t! Click to share...

This is where I whine, declare, and surmise. Looking back on this past year, I can’t help but focus on one single thing that made 2012 a really great year. My wife’s support for my newfound love of cycling has truly been the most fantastic blessing! She even follows my photographic directions in photographing me in all my kit! She’s an awesome wife, and been my most vocal supporter! Click to email this to a friend (Opens in new window). Click to print (Opens in new window). January 1, 2013.

This is where I whine, declare, and surmise. 2016 PHOTOCHALLENGE, WEEK 14: DEATH IN NATURE. Sorry for the late post all. Been camping with the boys, and captured my shot in time, but wasn’t back in a coverage area until today. This is where I whine, declare, and surmise. Why is the title “About Us,” when this blog is about only one person? I know you were thinking it. Deanna and I have four kids now. Our only daughter is 15, Sarah, The Princess. The eldest son is 13, Thomas, The Teenage Sniper. The middle boy is 10, Freckles. The youngest is 8, The Joker. We are 6 strong, and that should be it. I think we have enough for our very own Nascar pit crew. We are proud of our kids, and love spending time together as a family. 1 When...

This is where I whine, declare, and surmise. 2015 CHALLENGE: WEEK 49: MACRO POINTY THINGS. Fujifilm XT-1, aperture unk, ISO 800, 1/140, 35mm lens. I tried the flipped lens trick again, but I’m just not steady enough. This was the best of the pack, and it’s not all that great. And at no cost to me, other than the initial shipping, they restored the wood and brass ends, and either rehoned that blade, or replaced it. It’s definitely like new! Photowalking – TrevorCarpenter.com

This is where I whine, declare, and surmise. The past few years have been really a lot of fun for me, photographically. Moments after I decided to jump into this fun hobby of taking photos, I stumbled upon a tiny group of photowalkers. The idea blew my mind. Within weeks I was trying to wrangle together my own photowalk. The first one I hosted was at the Santa Barbara Old Spanish Mission. No one showed up. My voice wasn’t loud enough. So I decided to contact the top photowalks I could find; Thomas Hawk.

This is where I whine, declare, and surmise. 2015 CHALLENGE, WEEK 22: NUMBERS GEOMETRY. I needed to get out and do a little photowalk today. Good therapy. I wandered around the Santa Maria Valley Railway Historical Museum. It’s a small venue, with just one engine, car, and caboose. I took a few photos, thinking they’d be great for the geometry theme. Most of them would work just fine. But, across the street I saw this abandoned building and was enticed. Click to print (Opens in new window). June 3, 2015.
