The two met at Ohio State University in 1980, where Tony supervised Mahzarin’s master’s and PhD degree research. Mahzarin now teaches at Harvard University, Tony at University of Washington. Both were elected fellows of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, the Society of Experimental Psychologists and the American Academy for Arts and Science.
