A LOVE OF ALL THINGS CRAFTY! Sunday, 27 June 2010. Where Have I Been? A HoLiDaY, CuB CaMp and turning the BiG 40! A busy month I Had! Lets start at the very beginning. Half term week saw us spend a lovely week in Derbyshire in a little village called Kirk Ireton. The weather was mostly great, but the one wet day saw us head for the Emma Bridgewater Factory. A LOVE OF ALL THINGS CRAFTY! Tuesday, 26 October 2010. Free Stitch Embroidery and Felting. These are the two felting pictures now framed as per my last post. So I thought I would have another go - This time I tried to be too precise with "where and what" I wanted the final picture to look like - something I have now discovered with felting is - it has a mind of its own! A LOVE OF ALL THINGS CRAFTY! Monday, 29 March 2010. CUB MAKES AND A RARE SIGHTING. What a busy few days and a funny end to the weekend - I'll come to that in a minute. Firstly, We have been doing our Astronomer Badge at Cubs and I thought I would share with you the planet solar system as made by the Cubs. The photo doesn't do it justice - it involved paper mache and paint - Am I mad? Then it was Easter craft night tonight involving the inevitable Easter egg hunt and chocolate nests and this little chap.

I now need to tell you seven things about me! 1 I am 5ft 11" and grew up not impressed at being the tallest in the class but now as approaching middle age it has its own advantage of helping to disperse weight over a larger area! 2 I celebrate the big 40 in June! 3I have been a Cub leader for 20 years! 4 My fav meal in steak in red wine and garlic and rosemary wedges cooked by hubby on a Sat evening :-). Over the last couple of years, the medication I was taking gave me terrible sugar cravings. How am I doing? My starting weight was 11st 2lbs. I'm only just over 5ft 3ins. Wednesday, June 29, 2011. It's enough to Drive me Bonkers! Hello my dear Bloggeroos! I had a (mostly). Lovely weekend. On Sunday it was my great nephew Toby's Christening. As you know by now, my family love an excuse for a Party. Once again, we had the usual Disco and Buffet. My son, Phil and his family came down from Darlington. My niece, Emily came up from Wiltshire and we all met Jensen, the newest member of our clan. As I said, it was mostly. Lovely. Sunday was perfect, but. I absolutely hate driving.

Wednesday, January 26, 2011. Hello my dear Bloggeroos! Thank you so much for your get well wishes for my dear old Daddio, following his minor stroke. The doctors were well pleased with his progress, and passed him fit to return home yesterday. He is now managing to walk without his stick. Apart from a bit of numbness in his leg, there seems to be barely any after effects. I've mentioned before that Mumsie has had a few operations, so luckily they already have a stairlift and a bath seat. You may well ask!

Quite a bit's happened since my last posting. Daddio continues to improve following his minor stroke, and all is well with the world.
