Friday, 30 March 2012. Up-cycling here we go! Well first things first today was an interesting commission day! Starting with the request to make a card for someone whose just had a boob job and then an enquiry about wedding invites. Yes I know . Sublime to ridiculous! Neither of these are definites yet but so pleased that I was even considered and it made an interesting start to the day! The card was already glittered and is so cute with the bunting and detailed already so no need to do anything else!

Craft, arts, books, science, geekery. This time I took my inspiration from my crop friend, Julie. She is a really talented crafter – and a couple of months ago was making beautiful cards using the Stamping Up set “Petite Petals” with their punch. She also made a picture using an ikea frame and the punch out flowers. She inspired me so much I *needed* the set. Thursday, 15 November 2012. Time for coffee and cake again. Today was the Big Macmillan Coffee morning in work and I sold some cards for the fundraising pot . I think I managed to raise about £9 so I'm quite pleased I could help . Of course I also managed to spend and eat £10 worth of cakes . Yum! Here is another of the cards I made . Papermania stamps, some papermania paper (pink) and some Pear Pizazz striped SU paper. Teapot stamped in the coordinating ink. Cute and simple! View my complete profile.
