Love Letter To Seattle: Checked Santa Fe off my bucket list ;)
http://lovelettertoseattle.blogspot.com/2011/12/checked-santa-fe-off-my-bucket-list.html
Wednesday, December 28, 2011. Checked Santa Fe off my bucket list ;). Santa Fe was never actually on my bucket list - but it was a place that, if given a reason to go there, I'd visit. My parents have travelled several times to the American Southwest, and like Santa Fe quite a bit. So when they decided to go on a trip to the southwest this past fall, I decided to meet up with them during their stay in Santa Fe. Lots of adobe, archways, and crosses. The oldest house in the US is located in New Mexico?

Love Letter To Seattle: October 2011
http://lovelettertoseattle.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
Wednesday, October 12, 2011. Can I catch a break? Remember a year or so back when I had the great idea of starting a new, recurring blog segment called "You Know What Really Grinds My Gears? A la Peter Griffin from Family Guy? And it lasted, uh, like, oh, one post (not surprising, sometimes I have a difficult time with follow through in my personal life, especially with the blog). Well, I'd like to change this blog post title to the aforementioned grinding of gears. Seriously! Is she coming back?

Love Letter To Seattle: Santa Fe -- Wrappin' It Up!
http://lovelettertoseattle.blogspot.com/2012/01/santa-fe-wrappin-it-up.html
Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Santa Fe - Wrappin' It Up! Alrighty, I'm going to try and wrap up my Santa Fe trip in this post because truthfully, I'm ready to move on. Plus, with the weather being kinda shitty while I was there, I didn't get that great of photos. And blog posts are so much better with photos, no? I think my dad was pretty pumped to get to sit next to Mark Twain. This lady was incredible in person. In this same area there was a home decor and furniture store called Leslie Flynt. I loved it a...

Love Letter To Seattle: August 2011
http://lovelettertoseattle.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 14, 2011. By Marjorie Kowalski Cole. The old cat sleeps. In the newly arrived sun. One more spring. Has come his way. Dropping a solar bath. On failing kidneys, old cat bones. I check for the rise and fall of breath. Once he stalked hares. Across the yard, tracked down. Chicken hearts with split-lentil eyes. Fearless, disinterested, a poseur, a demideity. He and the dog are strangers still. After years of eating side by side. I remember times of wailing. Into my couch, alone. 3 Between Two...

Tuesday, November 29, 2011. Ten Things. "Finally a blog post" edition! I'm 3 months behind on my One Little Word project! I need to finish September, October, and November - it's the push to the finish folks! But you know what? I'm really excited to finish up my One Little Word for 2011, so I can start on One Little Word 2012! Yes, you heard that right, I'm going to sign up for the project again in 2012, and I couldn't be happier about it. I am 99% certain I have my word for 2012 picked out too! Elsie's ...

Love Letter To Seattle: Belated Christmas Post -- Snow Day Edition
http://lovelettertoseattle.blogspot.com/2012/01/belated-christmas-post-snow-day-edition.html
Wednesday, January 18, 2012. Belated Christmas Post - Snow Day Edition. So I'm a little late getting to this post - business as usual as far as my blog is concerned :) I have a lot of goals written down for 2012, but not one of them includes this blog. Why? With that said, I got some pretty bomb stuff this Christmas. Here's a breakdown of this year's spoils. Cricut cartridge holder. Perfect for the scrapper on-the-go. And one of my goals for 2012 is to scrap more! Some gorgeous prints by Rachel Ann Austin.

Love Letter To Seattle: Channeling my inner Ree.....
http://lovelettertoseattle.blogspot.com/2012/02/channeling-my-inner-ree.html
Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Channeling my inner Ree. For the last few years one of my favorite blogs I follow is The Pioneer Woman. Last time I was at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, I picked up these silicone muffin cups - they are reusable, how cool is that? Unfortunately, I didn't think to wash them before I started on my baking adventure, so I had to use the paper cupcake liners last minute. Next time though, I'll definitely be busting out the Betty Crocker silicone cups! Bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 to...

Love Letter To Seattle: Santa Fe -- Part Two
http://lovelettertoseattle.blogspot.com/2012/01/santa-fe-part-two.html
Sunday, January 15, 2012. Santa Fe - Part Two. On my second full day in New Mexico, we went for a long drive to Taos. We took "the high road" there, which was this really narrow, windy road through the mountains. At one point the two lane road turned into a one lane road and I thought for sure we were going to meet our maker. Luckily we made it to Taos in one piece. More on that later. My parents at the entrance up to the church. Pretty cool doorway! Entrance to the church - pretty rustic, but beautiful.

Love Letter To Seattle: September 2011
http://lovelettertoseattle.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 27, 2011. We did the Puyallup! When I was a wee little squirt, I remember having an absolute blast at the Evergreen State Fair in Monroe. Rides, animals, more rides, games, food, crafts, etc. Admittedly, I haven't been to any type of Fair in over a decade, so you can imagine how pumped I was at the thought of going to the Puyallup Fair - for the first time ever! Puyallup Effin' Fair peeps! Photo courtesy of the internet. I was mostly looking forward to seeing all the animals - pigs, ho...
