It has seemed to be a jam-packed spring for us, between weddings, birthday parties, poncho-making and neighborhood get-togethers, we've made some precious memories and are gearing up for lake season! Easter was wonderful with a Woodfield egg-hunt and a trip to great-grandma Sally's house, and then April brought the celebration of our favorite nephew, Graham Lee. We opted to paint our pumpkins this year, Chris had just come off a two week illness stent, Alison was coming off a very busy 2 week Fall Break, and Mommy- well, she was luckily to have survived it all! Trick or Treating got moved to Friday night due to terrible wind/rain on Halloween night. I'm very thankful b/c Friday was a great evening to be outside and the kids could really enjoy the evening. Ada was our 'little red devil' this year.

So we have tried very hard to give Alison one-on-one time and do special activities with her since Miss Ada has come along. Well Chris and Ali have talked for at least a year about having a fort overnighter in the living room. Well, the day finally came. We had (thankfully) had our project completed prior to Ada's birth but Mommy was very sad she didn't get to go to the fair and see Alison's presentation.
