Web usability guru Jakob Nielsen. Says that people want to know about the authors of their content. Who am I to argue with him? My name is Christopher Gerhard Reuter. I was born in the early 70's in Hamilton, Ontario and grew up in the nearby suburb of Burlington. I went to the University of Waterloo. And managed to get a Bachelor's degree in mathematics out of the experience. For a while, I lived in Waterloo, Ontario working on development tools for embedded systems at Archelon. I also write fiction.

I have, on occasion, written things. I seem to be reasonably good at it so rather than let my backlog of stuff sit unused on some disk, I've put up some of the less embarrassing stuff here. Here is some open-source software I've written. I've classified it into two groups: projects and hacks. Projects are programs that I've put some time and planning into and might be considered useful. Hacks are things that I slapped together quickly for a specific purpose. They may also be useful or just amusing. Projects tend to have their own pages while hacks are just downloadable files. I have a cunning plan. Java Callbacks Ruby Style. Java (pre version 8, anyway) doesn't have proper anonymous functions. For things like callbacks. It was originally intended to be just a more modern spriting application, but I decided it might fair better if it was a more generalized tool. As of right now, there aren't that many tools, but there are plans to add more. It is still quite buggy. Here's a screenshot of the main interface. And here's another of the spritesheet exporter.
