Building an urban garden. Monday, May 14, 2007. Big planting of 2007. I invited three of my former students over- xinying and xuejin (who have helped me plant all three years! And zhijun.we planted over 50 tomatoes and 100 peppers, as well as butternut squash, broccoli, lettuce, cauliflower, celery, cilantro, onions, and garlic. i still need to plant some herbs and my basil, but thanks to the three of them, the garden planting is 90% done. yay!
