Embrace being a Statistic. April 16, 2009. October 4, 2009. Embrace being a Statistic. I don’t believe in the saying “don’t be a statistic.” Face it- we are all part of the statistics, that’s just the way it is. Statistics are macro and our lives are micro (refer to your old Economoics and Biology/Life Sciences test books if necessary). It’s more appropriate to say “don’t end up as a statistic.” Would you want your life to be remembered only as a single plot on the graph? Photo from Flickr by comedy nose.

Two of the projects I worked on recently were productions from Ball State’s Department of Theatre and Dance. Ernestine Shuswap Gets Her Trout and an original version of Frankenstein were both part of the Strother Studio Series. For the former, I wrote and recorded original music, which I plan to post online soon and link here; check back soon. I performed cello live for Frankenstein as a part of a piano quintet (there was also some gorgeous choral music written by Michael Elliott.
