市民と科学者の内部被曝問題研究会 略称 内部被曝問題研 Association for Citizens and Scientists Concerned about Internal Radiation Exposures (ACSIR. ご承知のように、放射線障害のうち、線源が体内にある内部被曝については、原爆を投下した直後にアメリカ軍が行った 体内に入った放射線は微量だから人体には害を与えない の発表と、原爆の被害は軍の機密であるとして、被爆者には沈黙を命じ、日本政府及び、医師、医学者には被害の調査、研究を禁止したアメリカ軍の占領政策により、原爆の被害は高熱と強大な破壊力という 目に見える被害 だけがが強調され、 目に見えない 放射線被害、中でも特に内部被害は占領権力と隷属する日本政府の手で国民の目から隠されてきた。 ところが、１９６８年、日米両国政府が国連に共同提出した廣島 長埼原爆の医学的被害報告のなかに、 原爆被害者は死ぬべきものはすべて死亡し、現在、病人は一人もいない と書かれていることが理由で、総長は報告書を受理しなかった。
