http://blog.tvpixie.com/2010/06/lots-more-channels.html
Tuesday, 15 June 2010. We've just added a ton of additional channels to the site. We've now got info for programmes for the most popular channels from Freeview, FreeSat, Virgin and Sky. That means we'll have a much more detailed listings grid, a broader range of TV Picks of the Day, and even better recommendations - just for our beta testers right now. And if there are any channels you feel we absolutely must cover, please head over to our feedback page. And let us know. 14 December 2010 at 13:59.

TV Pixie: April 2010
http://blog.tvpixie.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Monday, 19 April 2010. Downgrading IE6 browser support. Just over 50% of our visits are from Internet Explorer users. Of those, 65% are on IE8 and only 10% on IE6. So only 5% of our visits are with IE6 browsers. It's also evident that month on month, the proportion of IE6 visits is shrinking, albeit only very slightly. What we have seen, however, is that IE7 is fast being replaced, most likely with IE8. Related articles by Zemanta. YouTube to Drop Support For IE6 Starting Next Month. Welcome to TV Pixie.

My take on tech. and personal stuff. Monday, 1 November 2010. I saw "Quiet Zone" on the door, hesitated an instant, then quickly jumped on board. I could do with an hour and a half of calm. As I found my seat, the woman in the seat behind mine was loudly talking on her phone while her travel companion, her daughter I presumed, sitting two seats back, shrieked instructions on what to say. As the train moved off, the announcements started. Mum," shouted the harpe, "do you want anyfink to drink? The conduct...

My take on tech. and personal stuff. Friday, 20 February 2009. A wonderful, refreshing dessert after a good dinner. Juice of one lemon. Zest of one lemon. 3 heaped dessert spoons sugar. Whisk up the cream, lemon zest and sugar just until it begins to thicken. Then add the lemon juice and whisk a little more. But don't let it get too thick. Whisk the egg whites until they form soft peaks, add to the cream mixture and fold in. Spoon into 4 small bowls or glasses and put in the fridge to chill.

My take on tech. and personal stuff. Thursday, 25 January 2007. Return on MBA Investment. So it is that, after completing a set of annual accounts for a fictitious manufacturing company, it’s 10pm and we’re just about to launch into discussing the case of a bearings manufacturer in preparation for the marketing class tomorrow morning. What’s not clear is if the sleeping heads in the front row this morning were suffering the results of working late or…. Wednesday, 24 January 2007. About -10C during the day.

My take on tech. and personal stuff. Wednesday, 31 December 2008. Scent of a lemon. While enjoying my very lemony shower gel. This morning, I got thinking about the old "you know when you've been Tango'd" ads. Like this one. So being a film fan - and believing that watching film at the cinema is the full flavoured experience - I came up with the germ of an idea for a series of ads for Tango to be shown on the silver screen. Here's the first in the series, for lemon tango. Scent of a Lemon'. Well, it's th...

My take on tech. and personal stuff. Thursday, 1 January 2009. A tasty starter, ideal for a dinner in winter. 1 pint chicken stock. 300g spinach leaves chopped. Melt the butter in a large pan. Throw in the shallots and cook gently for 10 minutes. Pour in the stock and simmer for 5 mins. Then add the spinach, with a generous grating of nutmeg, then season and simmer for 20-30 mins. Take off the heat and allow to stew for a while. Warm up and stir in the creme fraiche just before serving.
