Thoughts on Apple Watch. Things. I bought the Pebble (which was less than half the price of the lowest end Apple Watch) because I was interested in what the future might bring for smart watches. Do I buy the Apple Watch for the same reason, or do they have a unique selling point yet? I’m nervous about the more expensive editions of the watch too. If the gold watch is a four figure sum as is rumoured, how is that reconcilable with the fact that the technology will go out of date?

I’m going to add my voice to those calling for trials of App Store apps. Here’s how I could see it working:. Developers can choose whether to allow a trial of 1, 7 or 30 days, or to disallow trials all together, on a per-app basis. For those apps that allow trials, the App Store would show a “Try for 7 days” button alongside “Buy app”. If you install the trial app, it gets flagged with a “Trial” flag over the icon, in a similar way to the “New” flag that was introduced in iOS 6.

If you’re trying to filter an SBElementArray using a predicate, and want to substitute in an enum value (for example, fetching OmniFocus projects that are either active or on hold, but not completed or dropped), you may be unsure what type to pass into the format string.
