God is within each of us, and so that is where I seek him. Mostly, looking inward is the only place I could be in the present. Here I exercise my mind. I look inward to see the results of my stretching and listen to my breath. I may look within my body for bubbles of tension. I may count my breathes. Above all it is practice in being in the moment.

Richard Lindberg, Orchidist. People tell me these are the best baby back ribs they ever ate. They are a bit of work but well worth it. Don't rush the process, I have tried to and they are not as good. If you don't have the time, make something else. Where there is a little picture, chances are that if you mouse-over it, a larger version will pop up. Baby Back Ribs are my specialty. There are many, many recepies (Google sez 349,000) including this one from Alton Brown. I use a large enamel roasting pan.

Richard Lindberg, Orchidist. There are many good things about retirement. Having a fixed income is nicer than I ever imagined it would be. Every day is a Friday with the boss out of the office. I have plenty of time to stop and smell the orchids. One morning I was working peacefully when my boss called me into her office. An hour later I was standing outside carrying a box. I made the journey from "unemployed" to "retired" over a three year period with only a few weeks of "contractor" work as punctuation.
