Saturday, February 14, 2015. A kinder first day. Kaia is now halfway through her first year in school. She is doing quite well! She is reading and doing simple maths. She very good in art and math. Kaiser is located in a tony neighborhood on a hill. As Kaia was walking to school, she turned to me to say she was very nervous. The school is small and services students around Oakland, it is not a neighborhood school. Kaia giving us her game face. No idea what this was about! You should check these out!

Saturday, February 14, 2015. I totally forgot to update you all of 2014! It was the year of camping for us. Just to recap a few things, we went to Japan with Kaia, went camping all over the place from the Redwood Empire to Yosemite. One of our favorite places is this unknown gem, Lassen Volcano National Park. It was easy to get to, hardly anyone camping and very beautiful. Friday, May 27, 2011. I got a new camera. Testing it on Kaia. I went to Japan recently. I was worried about the radioactivity, but that didn't stop me from eating tons of yummy stuff! Green Tea White Chocolate Bagel. Shoyu Ramen from Tokyo Ramen Road at the Tokyo Eki. Freshly made doughnuts from Hana's Donut Truck. Fancy Shabu Shabu in Ebisu Tower. Soft Serve Ice Cream at Lalaport, sesame, green tea, and vanilla. I love my friends in Japan! Thank you Manami, Axe, Tomoko, and Ryo for hanging out!

Sunday, May 5, 2013. If you take the Carmel Valley Road, then a right on Cachagua, you'll drive up switchbacks and down winding roads. You'll view beautiful untouched lands, then come across the Cachugua General Store. My daughter is named after the ocean. It's in her DNA. She'll splash in any beach at any temperature. My husband commented, "Her body temperature adjusts to her degree of fun." It was around 54 degrees F this particular day. We set up camp at Pfeiffer State Park. The waterfall in the forest.
