http://wefoundhappiness.blogspot.com/2011/03/nigerian-woman.html
Our family moved to Lagos,Nigeria in July 2009. Thursday, March 10, 2011. I bought this statue last year from a local artist named Reuben. When I first saw this statue, I thought to myself, "This statue is a perfect representation of Nigeria." I have tried and tried to get pictures of the women I see on the streets, but none of them could ever show so accurately the expressions on their faces as they are working so hard. Trust a Nigerian man. I don't even trust my own husband! When I look at this statue ...

Our family moved to Lagos,Nigeria in July 2009. Monday, November 26, 2012. My 36th Thanksgiving has come and gone and like many other people around the U.S., I have spent some time thinking about all the things I am thankful for. These past few months of adjusting to life back in "the world" have been a little rough, a little fun, but most of all, I have really been able to look inside myself and I have learned a little bit more about myself. I am thankful for my brothers. Being the oldest and the on...
