Friday, July 31, 2015. Window where the blue air bathes a mass of flowers. This morning I walked for 2 1/2 hours in Vaakkoi forests and swamps. I visited several lakes, and on three of them there were Gavia stellata. On the first one there were six birds, on the second three, and on the third three as well. Some of the young ones have learned to fly and look almost the same as adults, but some are still unable to fly, but they do dive. The photographs were taken on July 16th. Thursday, July 30, 2015.

It was 14 °C when I started walking, and 19 °C when I returned. Surprisingly there we not many mosquitoes, perhaps due to wind and sunshine. A comparison of Panasonic LX5 and LX3. My LX3 got broken. In a thunderstorm on July 28th, 2011, and didn't recover. It was self-evident to get the Panasonic LX5 as a replacement. I got. My hands on it on August 1st, 2011. Since then I have taken several thousand photographs with the LX5, enough to make an evaluation of it. I'm comparing the LX5 with the LX3, which proved to be a durable and capable camera. I took 203,318 photographs with the LX3 in a bit less than three years. Some words about prices.

Looking at the map I estimated that it would take over two hours. When walking I lost the sense of time, and I was quite surprised that the walk had taken 3 h 15 min. The terrain was rugged.
