Posted on 04 May 2014. 由于停电或其他原因导致的 vCenter Server 非正常关机后，使用 vSphere Client 连接时总是会出错。登录 https:/ vcenter.xxxxx.xxxxxxxx.xxx:5480/ ，确认 Server 的运行状态应该是 Stopped。选择 Utilities 处的 Setup wizard ，单击 Launch，如果之前没有特殊配置则全部按缺省配置完成该过程。通过 vSphere Client 连接，应该可以成功。 VCenter Server 的许可证可能需要重新关联。 Comments powered by Disqus. 2010-2013 Z. Posted on 27 Aug 2014. 最近在某台设备上发现 kipmi0 这个内核线程会占用 100% CPU。根本解决办法需要清楚为什么 kipmi0 会占用 CPU 资源呢摘录部分内核文档 Documentation/IPMI.txt. 可以看到，本质原因是由于部分 IPMI 接口不支持中断，只能通过轮询来获取相应的信息。该参数名为 kipmid max busy us。 Echo 100 /sys/module/ipmi si/parameters/kipmid max busy us. Cat /etc/modprobe.d/ipmi.conf options ipmi si kipmid max busy us=100. 另外，从上面文档中可以看到，尽管 kipmi0 会占用比较多的 CPU 资源，但该内核线程的优先级设置比较低，对系统性能的冲击是有限的。 Comments powered by Disqus. 2010-2013 Z. Liu.

Posted on 16 Sep 2014. 假设有如下需求，需要对来自每个 IP 的 SSH 连接尝试频率做限制，例如 10 次/每分钟。 Netfilter 里 recent 模块正好可以实现该需求。在实现效果上前者会允许一分钟内 10 次新建连接可以使用 nc 测试，第 11 次请求会被 drop 而后者则是丢弃第 10 次请求。原因体现在连接率的原始计算数据是由 -m recent set name SSH 这条规则来更新的，如果 DROP 规则在这之前，则率的判断只有在下一次新建请求到达时才会匹配。对后一种配置方式，如果 ctstate RELATED,ESTABLISHED -j ACCEPT 规则的位置在 drop 之前，会导致 drop 规则永远无法匹配上。这是因为连接状态处于 NEW 时被放过，回应包返回后状态就会改变为 ESTABLISHED。状态变迁的细节信息可以参考 The state machine. 从上周五买域名开始，到刚才把网站部署上去，总共花去了我 10 天的空闲时间。 10 天里熬夜了几天都记不清了，每次都是最早凌晨 5 点睡，那时睡的话要设 4 个间隔 10 分钟的闹钟，以防上班迟到。期间有天要出差，早上 7 点 50 的火车，那天就没睡，在火车上补的觉。计划IN 我这么叫它其实就是个 todo list 备忘录工具，具体的介绍可以看帮助页面. 开发过程可以简单概括为买域名用 freemind 列需求和设计用 mockups 画原型图实现 ui 实现后台逻辑。前端 ui 实现占用了我 80% 的开发时间。 Logo 是照着 twitter 的用 ps 画的首页的预览图也是截图后用 ps 旋转得到的。为了想实现一种动画效果，把 css3 的 transform 尝试了遍，最后以失败告终。前端用的 twitter 的 bootstrap css 框架和核武器 backbone.js MVC 框架，后者的源码也几乎被我看完了。这个项目里我写的 python 代码远没有写的 js 代码多。
