Window Applets 是前陣子看到的一個小玩意，它的作用是在 panel 上顯示視窗的按鈕，當作用中的視窗不是處在最大化的狀態時，一切正常沒有任何事發生，而當作用中的視窗被放到最大化後，Window Applets 便會安靜的跑了出來，視窗的 title bar 被隱藏住，與視窗互動的按鈕就轉到 Window Applets 在 panel 上的三個按鈕來控制了，於是程式的視窗在外觀上就會緊緊貼著 panel，看起來也更美觀，完全是擊中了我內心的甜蜜點啊。 將視窗最大化後，原本的按鈕就會跑到 panel 上顯示，而視窗的 title bar 也跟著消失了，一整個很美麗啊. 或者用 PPA 跟著最新穩定版走 http:/ launchpad.net/ nekoreeve/ archive/ppa. Living today for tomorrow. 一月 26, 2008. 的 script 時，因為碰到一段要建立站台的"主機標頭"，一時意會不起來，於是找了 Eoda 學長過來幫忙看一下，然後改了某測試站台的設定內容後，結果整個 IIS 就這樣掛點了…. 測試機上的 IIS 有跑許多個站台，這些站台的狀態都是已停止，無論怎麼重開 IIS Service 或手動啟動都無效，就在這兵荒馬亂之際，到了中午喫飯時刻，只好待喫完飯下午再回來解決。 Mezi 學長指示，先把 IIS 的設定檔匯出，再重裝 IIS，再將設定檔匯入試試。 於是便 google 翻到了可以用 IIsCnfg.vbs 這隻 script 來將設定檔做匯出與匯入的動作，步驟相當簡單. 先做匯出 cscript IIsCnfg.vbs /export /f c: blah.xml /sp / /children. Cscript IIsCnfg.vbs /import /f c: blah.xml /sp / /children /dp / /children. 之前都被我忽略而只有填上 IP 與 Port 屬性，現在終於可以填滿啦。

Thunderbird 專用套件: LookOut – 檢視 TNEF 編碼格式的附件. 七月 19, 2008. 因為 Eoda 學長寄的信，只要附加檔案上來，我用 Thunderbird. 將信收下，都無法檢視信內的附件，Thunderbird 在附件視窗只秀出 winmail.dat 這個不知道什麼鬼的檔案。 後來 Eoda 學長上去微軟網站查了一下，才發現原來他用的 Office Outlook 一直都有這類的問題 http:/ support.microsoft.com/kb/290809/zh-tw. 因為 Outlook 會將附件以 TNEF(Transport Neutral Encapsulation Format) 的格式將附件做編碼再寄出，而收件軟體若不是 Outlook 的話，都無法正確解析附件，包括 Outlook Express 也是如此。 找看看 Thunderbird 有沒有現成的套件可以掛進來， LookOut. Living today for tomorrow. 二月 15, 2010. 會是最佳選擇，不必去碰底層的 Lucene，所有的查詢動作都透過 XML/JSON 等 HTTP 方式向 Search Server 查詢，並取回查詢結果，也支援 Faceted Search 功能。 當然，要刻程式去呼叫 Search Server 也成，用 Solrj. 如果一切都想自己來而不想用 Solr 的話，那麼底層放 Lucene，一般的建索引跟查詢動作都沒問題，要後分類功能時，再補上 bobo-browse. 遇到的狀況是，設定好要後分類的索引欄位，經過查詢後的確可以拿到後分類的結果，也就是分好類的 item 集合，但是 item 相關的後分類數卻都是為零，看起來應該是在每次分類時，沒有把 hitCount 值做累加，造成值永遠為零的囧境。 Public void collect(String facet field) {. Living today for tomorrow. 十一月 11, 2006. 接手某 phpbb2 的管理事務，然後大版主前陣子打電話來說因為很多機器人會亂註冊 spam擾民，希望可以效法其它論壇做法, 在註冊與發文兩個頁面加上圖形驗證的功能。 原本記憶中後來的 phpbb2 版本都有內建 captcha 才對，進去管理介面後卻怎麼找都沒有，竟然沒有內建的 captcha 功能，原本的維護者不是我，所以老實說我也不清楚為何會沒有這功能，猜想是一路升級上來時，可能漏掉了相關的程式碼。 Anyway, 既然沒有，那就只好自己動手把它加上去，所用的 package 叫做 Freecap. 抓這個程式，把我要的數字字型造出來，然後放到 freecap/.ht arial font.gdf，接著總共改四個檔案. JDOM 的 XPath 並沒有辦法處理含有 Namespace 的 XML Document 物件，這使得在處理 XML 資料時往往沒辦法用 XPath 來快速抓取節點，因為 selectSingleNode()/selectNodes() 取回來的物件或集合都為空，昨天發狠決定要找出解決的方式，總算這問題有解了。 介面的實作，專門給 JDOM 的 XML Document 來進行 XPath 運算，這個介面有提供一個 method 叫 setNamespaceContext() 可以來傳入自訂的 Namespace 資訊，將 Namespace 的 prefix 與 URI 組成一 Map 後建立 SimpleNamespaceContext 類別並傳入即可.
