Saturday, July 9, 2011. Cycling in the volcano area and watching an exciting stage finish in Super-Besse. Today was a pretty busy day for the two Custom Getaways groups on our trips which are running in parallel in the Massif Central. Indeed, we started with a 70 kilometer long ride in a very nice and green scenery around Clermont-Ferrand before getting back in our mini-vans with exclusive stage course access to drive on to the finish. Monday, July 4, 2011. Crossing the finish line in Redon. Today, the group of Custom Getaways clients in the first trip in the Tour de France 2011 got to cross the finish line in Redon after having done the last part of the official race route. Escorted by an official car we got to cross the finish line only a few hours before the riders did and we also got to climb on the podium while the official hymn of the Tour de France was playing. Not much later we got to see Tyler Farrar. Posted by Custom Getaways.

Wednesday, July 21, 2010. The Polka Dot Alps trip was a great success! As you probably noticed there haven't been any updates to this blog since a few days now .
