I love taking photos of my food I cook. And it helps me to get really excited about cooking. Here are my sweet pumpkin and celery pickles with scrambled eggs and olive bread. I really need to organise to buy more serving-wear though, because at the moment I have very little pretty things to put food on! Notice my avocado bowl for the olives! Asked me to shoot The Perth Royal Show. I’m pretty lucky because I love the aesthetics or TRS, but rarely get the chance to go. This was the first time I’d really been there to shoot photography, and I have to say it’s really exciting to get to do things like this. The rest of the photos can be found on my Flickr. 3 weekends ago I shot the Beaufort St Festival and I was mainly involved in shooting the food stage. It was super hot the whole day and I got a bit burnt because I totally forgot sunscreen because I’m a dolt. But I managed to sneak tastes of quite a few of the food the chefs created. More on that in the next post! Anyway, everyone looked wonderful, and everything was really great. Will definitely go again next year. So I present to you, Day One of my Japan Holiday.
