Unfortunately, hotlinking the GIF is the only option. Tumblr has a maximum file size of 500kbs for GIFs. The file sizes of our GIFs are usually 5x greater or more. While logged in, visit the actual GIF page (where you see your GIF and the comments) and hover your mouse over the GIF. When hovered over, the top right hand corner will have two options; edit blurb and delete. Click on delete to delete the GIF. Posted: Tue December 6th, 2011.

Okay, so I want to save my GIF to my computer and I know the whole right click save file routine, but it saves it as a still image. I've tried using it on my blog, and like I said, it comes up as a still image. Help? To get the GIF on your blog, try using the Tumblr button that’s found on the page of your gifyo GIF.
